Authentic photography for Devon brands who'd rather be off-camera

Building a business in Devon is hard enough without the pressure of a lens in your face.

You've built something worth showing up for. Now you just need photos that actually look like you.

You know you need better photos. You've known for a while.

But every time you think about actually doing it, the same thought stops you.

What if I come out looking like a stranger in my own brand?

Maybe you've had photos taken before and hated them. Too stiff, too posed, not remotely like you. So the old headshot stays. Or the logo. And your online presence quietly suggests someone who'd rather stay invisible.

You're not invisible. You're just waiting for the right person.

That's where I come in.

I'm Felicity.

And if the retail floor taught me anything in thirty years, it's how to read a room, earn trust quickly, and make people feel at ease in situations they didn't necessarily choose.

I traded the shop floor for a camera. But the job is the same.

Putting you at ease isn't a marketing tagline. It's what I actually do.

I am very camera shy but Felicity made the whole shoot feel relaxed and put me at ease, even contacting me for a chat beforehand. I feel her photos really captured the essence of me in my work environment, in a relaxed but professional way, which was just what I had hoped for.

How we'll work together

self portrait of Felicity Billen, Devon portrait and brand photographer

Most of my clients aren't looking for a photo shoot.

They're looking for a way to stop hiding.

You've built something real here in Devon. But the thought of being the face of it? That's the bit that keeps getting pushed to next month.

Once you've said yes, you're in safe hands. We're not performing. We're documenting the professional you already are.

That's all this is, really. Backing the brilliant.

Showing the world what you've already built.

How it works

The conversation

We start by talking through what you actually need the photos for, where they'll live, and what's been stopping you. By the time we meet, the uncertainty is gone and the plan is set.

The session

No stiff poses. No forced smiles. Think of it as a catch-up where I happen to have a camera. I use your natural rhythm, not a set of instructions, to get the images that look like you on your best day.

The gallery

Within a week, your private gallery is ready. You choose your favourites and download them in high resolution, with a full commercial licence included as standard. No hidden fees, no per-image surprises.

A £150 retainer secures your date and starts the planning.

Three ways to work together

Comfort & Confidence

£295

For the camera-shy, the over-thinkers, and the "I'd rather be anywhere else" business owners.

One unhurried hour. Twenty images. A pre-shoot confidence call so nothing catches you off guard. It feels less like a shoot and more like a coffee and a catch up.

You'll wonder what you were worried about.

Ease & Presence

£655

For the brands who need a full library, not just a photo. Half a day, two locations, 60+ images. We plan your marketing calendar beforehand so every shot has a home. The best frames come in the second hour, once you've forgotten there's a camera.

A year's worth of content, done once, done right.

Want great photos ?

The Brand Builder

£95 a month

For the businesses who want consistent, evolving content without the upfront commitment of doing it all at once.

Four shoots a year, one per season, planned in advance and building on each other as your brand grows. Full editing, priority booking, and a dedicated visual strategy that moves with you. It's the kind of consistency that makes your audience feel like they always know where to find you.

Minimum initial term of 12 months.

I was immediately put at ease by Fee and her gentle approach, showing a genuine interest in the work that I do. Fee was able to capture so many wonderful parts of my studio, my practice, me and my story.

The results are beautiful.

FAQ's
I’m not good in front of the camera, will this affect my photos?

I’ve spent 30 years in retail mastering the art of making people feel at ease, so my job is to handle the awkwardness and guide you through it until you actually forget the camera is even there.

Think of me as your dedicated co-pilot. Your small business cheerleader.

We’ll chat first and photograph second.

When will I get my photos?

Within a week.

I will email you an online Gallery through Pixieset. This first one is for you to choose your favourites from, (the package you chose to book  will determine how many.)

Once selected I'll send you the finished fully edited gallery for you to download & keep your photos.

How do I pay / Do you offer payment plans?

I'll send you a secure link via Square to secure your chosen date in my diary.

A week before the session, I'll send you another link to pay the balance online. It's quick, and simple and you don't need to sign up to yet another account.

Your £150 session fee secures the date, and the remaining balance can be split into monthly payments at no extra cost.

It's all set up automatically through Square, it's easy with no fuss.

What is included in the Commercial Licence?

Your Commercial Licence covers using your photos to promote your own Business — think Website, Social Media, Press Features, Printed marketing, and so on.

What it doesn't cover is selling the images themselves, giving them to 3rd parties for their own use, or re-editing them. If you're ever unsure, just ask, I'll happily advise or provide an extended licence if you need one.
